The aim of ‘Different Journeys’ is not only to raise funds for work with drug/alcohol dependents and their families, but perhaps more significantly, to bring the subject closer to those who feel that it has nothing to do them and their lives, and who may indeed, feel revulsion towards the issue. ‘Different Journeys’ is not intending to trivialise the negative social impact of drug/alcohol abuse, but to provide a more human perspective using the mediums of fine art and the written word.
